カゴの中の鳥は「自由」を歌う
人類の「自由」の歌が聴こえないように
命が奪われていくのは慣れちゃったけど
保健所に囚われた獣の祈りを
毒ガスが優しく包み込む
それはまるで1940年から1945年に起きた
世界が恐れたアノ出来事のように
カゴの中の蝶は「自由」を願う

命に値段のついたペットショップの孤独な猫を
人間が優しく抱きあげる
それはまるで命を売り買いする
みんなが嫌いな、、、何だっけ？
眠くて”言葉”が思い出せないや
みんなそれぞれ考え方は違うと思うけど
僕は地球と共存していきたいんだ
命に最初から価値なんてないけれど
だからこそ大切にしたいと思うんだ
いつの日からか僕は犬が鎖につながれていないと
不思議に思うようになっていた
「どうして君は自由なの？」と
